Alex and Allison are high school sweethearts and a few days before their 11th (!!!!) anniversary they said “I do” in front of 45 close friends and family members. Their wedding was at the charming Exeter Inn in Exeter, NH and luckily the rain held out! The day started out in the bridal suite with Allison and her matron and maid of honor. Their rustic yet contemporary room overlooked the ceremony space as they all got ready. The two flower girls were so adorable and helped assist me with their own camera! [i.e mini polaroids!] I then had the luxury of dropping off the groom’s gift to the guys downstairs where Alex got to open a slick black watch from his bride to be. Prior to their ceremony, we had a first look between Allison, her mom, her step dad, and her dad.((tears)) I loved holding this moment in front of the main door to the Exeter inn, it’s just so elegant and rustic!
The intimate ceremony space was surrounded by greenery as her dad walked her down the isle, met by her step-dad to give her away, and brother to marry her and Alex. The day was focused on their love and their love for their families. Afterwards, guests sat at a long family style table to enjoy lunch. Bold red and black colors during this humid cloudy day made for a story full of color and love. The love between these two, after all this time, is tangible and magnetic. The day concluded full of fun outside where there were lawn games, drinks, and gift bags of chocolate and personalized water bottles. I couldn’t be happier for Allison and Alex, congrats you two and thanks to all the vendors!!
